- Science: Understanding Earth’s magnetic field and using the Sunrise and Sunset to find East and West.
- The Qibla: Learning how to find the direction of prayer using a compass and the sun’s position.
- Math in Action: Using 360° angles and "bearings" to follow paths and measure distance.
- Social Studies: Discovering how our Maldivian ancestors used nature to navigate the open seas.
- Cardinal Directions: Mastering North, South, East, and West to build confidence in the outdoors.
- Navigation Vocabulary: Expanding Vocabulary by learning and using Dhivehi and English terms related to navigation
- A backpack your child can comfortably carry (with their belongings inside)
- A litterless healthy snack
- Refillable water bottle
- Sun protection items you prefer (hat, sunscreen, etc.)
- Comfortable clothes for messy outdoor play (footwear should be comfortable for walks)
- Raincoat & rain boots (if rainy)
- Mosquito repellent
