Children discover the distinctive shapes, components, and unique names of a traditional dhoni hull. The session concludes with a fun Bom’bi Dhoni sailing race.

Day 1
- Craft using traditional coconut husk (Bom’bi)
- Learn the distinctive shapes and components of a dhoni hull
- Understand the function and unique names of dhoni parts
- Cut and shape traditional dhoni sails
- Understand wind patterns, directions, and sailing angles
- Take part in an exciting Bom’bi Dhoni sailing race
- A backpack your child can comfortably carry (with their belongings inside) Comfortable clothes for messy outdoor play (footwear should be comfortable for walks) Raincoat & rain boots (if rainy)
- Sun protection items you prefer (hat, sunscreen, etc.)
- Insect /Mosquito repellent (please apply before arrival if preferred and a small bottle can be stored in their backpack for the day).
- Appropriate prayer attire (dholhi/mundu/thaakihaa)
