Make and Paint a Kuda Gon’di
Children learn essential woodworking skills, from safe tool use to building their own Kuda Gon’di (Small stool chair). They’ll then sand, paint, and proudly take their handcrafted creation home.

Day 1
  • Introduction to different types of trees and wood
  • Introduction to woodworking tools (Including drill, screws, hammer, nails, clamps, glue, hand saw, sandpaper and sander)
  • Learn essential tool safety
  • Learn how to measure, hammer, and drill
  • Experiment with available tools and materials and begin constructing the Kuda Gon’di
Day 2
  • Sand and paint the Kuda Gon’di
  • Learn sanding techniques and how to apply paint smoothly
  • Take home the handcrafted Kuda Gon’di

  • A backpack your child can comfortably carry (with their belongings inside)
  • A litterless healthy snack
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Sun protection items you prefer (hat, sunscreen, etc.)
  • Comfortable clothes for messy outdoor play (footwear should be comfortable for walks)
  • Raincoat & rain boots (if rainy)
  • Mosquito repellent
If the session includes ocean time
